An Urgent Cybersecurity Update for Our Clients
Sera-Brynn is actively monitoring the situation in Ukraine and related expected cyber impacts. While we are certain that your organization is aware of this tense international situation, we wanted to share some critical information that may be directly applicable to you and your business.
Given the severity of the geo-political risk, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and National Security Agency (NSA) have issued a joint cybersecurity advisory (AA22-047A) and are maintaining a Shields-Up website dedicated to this situation and continue to update it with current information. They recommend organizations adopt a heightened state of awareness and implement the recommendations listed to improve functional resilience and reduce risk of compromise or severe business degradation.
Sera-Brynn strongly recommends that you follow CISA’s guidance to prepare for potential impacts as applicable to your operations. International and federal law enforcement entities are assessing a significant increase in the likelihood of cyber attacks on businesses and organizations worldwide. If you suspect a compromise or security incident, please call us immediately so we can determine the veracity and extent of the data breach and help you to take the actions necessary to protect your business and customers.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Rob S. Hegedus
Chief Executive Officer
