Highlighted was Sera-Brynn’s report, “Reality Check: Defense Industry’s Implementation of NIST SP 800-171. Keen insights from certified cybersecurity assessors.” Published in May 2019, the report tracked trends over 2 years of cybersecurity audits within the Defense Industrial Base.

Colin Glover, Principal and Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, Sera-Brynn
Colin Glover is principal of Sera-Brynn, a cyber risk management firm based in Chesapeake, Virginia. Colin manages the company’s audit and assessment work, including FedRAMP assessments and validations of NIST-based cybersecurity frameworks.
Colin has experience supporting intelligence and information security efforts in both the federal and private sector. His hold numerous certifications and degrees, including CISSP. He was formerly a Counterintelligence Special Agent with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and served in the United States Marine Corps.
