Suffolk, Va., May 18, 2016 — Sera-Brynn retained its elite ranking in the Cybersecurity Ventures list of top cybersecurity firms in the world, remaining no. 1 in Virginia and moving up to no. 10 in the U.S. on the strength of its holistic risk management services.
In addition to remaining top among 40 Virginia cybersecurity firms in the Cybersecurity 500 list for the Q2 2016, Sera-Brynn is no. 16 in the world of the hottest and most innovative cybersecurity firms. The list was released this week.
“Addressing cyber security requirements and response activities is more and more becoming a community-based approach,” said Sera-Brynn CEO Rob Hegedus. “From the very beginning, Sera-Brynn believed the best way to protect businesses and organizations from the increasing onslaught of cyber threats and regulatory requirements was through a team effort with the legal, insurance and financial services industries. Our approach continues to be validated by this rapidly changing market and our position within the Cybersecurity 500 is another indicator that we’re on the right track.”
Sera-Brynn has recently been awarded a contract by The National Catholic Risk Retention Group to provide specialized Risk Control cybersecurity products and services to its members, clients, affiliates and shareholders. The National Catholic Risk Retention Group is headquartered in Lisle, Ill., and is a licensed insurance company, operating as a risk retention group, and provides insurance products to service a multitude of exposures for the Catholic Church in all 50 states.
Sera-Brynn has also recently been awarded a contract by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to provide Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) Compliance Services to the agency. The award followed a competitive bidding process.
